Many mices have much higher speeds (sensitivities) than touchpads on notebooks. If you connect such mouse toyour computer, the cursors moves very quickly and the mouse is hard to use unless you lower the mouse speed (sensitivity). When you disconnect the mouse
and want to use your tracpoint again you have to set the mouse speed (sensitivity) back to its previous value. This utility does this process for your and switches the sensitivites automatically.
Windows does not allow you to set different sensitivities for different input devices. There is only one global sensitivity. This utility changes the global sensitivity accoring to the state of your mouse (connected / disconnnected). When your mouse is not
connected, the touchpad sensitivity is used (for touchpad). When you connect your mouse, the mouse sensitivity is used (for both your mouse and your touchpad!). This is as good as it can get.
Use the one click installer from the
section to get the current version.
In the main window you can define two different mouse sensitivities (speeds). The touchpad speed is used when no mouse is connected. The mouse speed is used when a mouse is connected. This enables you to have different speeds and the utility automatically switches
between them when pluging or unpluging a mouse.
When you click on the Minimize button or on the X on the form, the utility gets minimized to system tray. If you want to bring the windows back just double click on the red application icon. Context menu is available after clicking the red application icon
with the right mouse button.
